Reopened on 14 December 2025 after a full refurbishment in the name of Mad Squirrel, the Hertfordshire-based brewery who originally set up in Hertford but now brew at Potten End near Hemel Hempstead. There are pizzas and burgers and expect live music at weekends. Alway two sometimes three Mad Squirrel cask ales and a large variety of the company's craft keg beers. Has baby-changing facilities. Situated just yards from the town bus station.
