Fully refurbished after a lengthy closure, this remote 17th century pub has been tastefully modernised but retains a traditional layout. Inside, two log fires offer a cosy atmosphere in the colder months. Meanwhile outside, a large garden in pleasant rural surroundings, equipped with its own exterior bar, make for a delightful summer drinking environment. Up to three cask ales are available and the pub serves well-presented food every day until early evening. There is a large car park to the rear. A quiz is held on Sundays.
